We are on Denny Lane, Chew Magna, a beautiful spot overlooking Chew Valley lake.
Please don’t just turn up as there may not be anyone able to see you! If you’re interested in visiting the farm then look out for details of volunteer days, events and open days. We love to meet out members and people interested in the farm but we’re also a working farm and business so have to make sure we have the time to show visitors round properly.
How to find us – but please let us know you’re coming first!
The Community Farm overlooks Chew Valley Lake; it is on Denny Lane on the left-hand side if you’re coming from Chew Magna. The postcode is BS40 8SZ. Mindful of the environment, we encourage people to come by bus or bike or to share cars if possible.
By bike: It’s approximately a nine mile cycle ride from central Bristol. There are two possible National Cycle Network routes which are shown on Ordnance Survey maps or can be found at http://www.sustrans.org.uk/map.
By bus: Public transport to the farm is limited. If you do wish to take the bus: from Central Bristol, take the 672 stop cp in Rupert Street. Change at Blagdon, Seymour Arms. Then take the 672 towards Broadmead and get off at Chew Magna Post Office. It’s then a 15 minute walk to the farm. For return journey details and further information see: www.travelinesw.com
By car: If you are coming to a volunteer day or one of our events by car and are able to offer a lift to others or need a lift yourself, let us know by completing the information on the booking form for these events. There is limited parking on site on hard standing.
