Bristol Seed Swap – 10th March 2012

The Bristol Seed Swap 2012 offers a huge diversity of rare and interesting seed varieties, plus live music, stalls, talks, workshops, plant sales, films, tea, cake and lunch, and lots of fun!

The 8th annual seed swap and green fair is for growers of all levels from experienced pros to complete beginners.

It’s also a great opportunity to find out more about local community groups, why saving and swapping seed is so important, and what’s going on in the world of local food. All in one place and just for a small donation on the door – suggest £3.

Bring any excess or unwanted seeds to share, labelled in an envelope or other container.

Saturday 10th March

12pm-4pm at Easton Community Centre, Kilburn Street, Easton BS5 6AW

Arrive early to get the best seeds and a tasty café lunch!

Hurry – share offer closes 29th February

Our second share offer comes to a close at the end of this month. We’ve raised an incredible £50,600 so far. Our target of £100,000 might not be quite in sight but with your help we may be able to get closer to it.

If you would like to be part of our exciting project then please see all the details in the documents below and return your application and amount you want to invest to us as soon as possible. We look forward to welcoming you to the farm and showing you the newer tractor when we’re able to get it!!

The picture shows a seed sower that we managed to buy using a grant from Bath and North East Somerset Council.
