Caring for our fast-growing Summer crops

Community Farmer Days

On Saturdays through the Spring, Summer and Autumn we hold one-day volunteer events called Community Farmer Days.

We invite you to come along and join in with seasonal field tasks.

We design these days to be productive, educational, engaging and sociable. Whatever the weather!

Have fun whilst learning where our food comes from.

The Community Farm fields are in a beautiful setting, overlooking Chew Valley Lake. Adults and (supervised) children are welcome.

What we'll be doing

Stringing and sideshooting the tomatoes and cucumbers, the summer crops are growing so fast they need our care. Are there any ready yet? Can you find the first red ripe tomato?

Please note activities are subject to change.
