Help us get the polytunnels get ready for the coming season.
Community Farmer Days
On Saturdays through the Spring, Summer and Autumn we hold one-day volunteer events called Community Farmer Days.
We invite you to come along and join in with seasonal field tasks.
We design these days to be productive, educational, engaging and sociable. Whatever the weather!
Have fun whilst learning where our food comes from.
The Community Farm fields are in a beautiful setting, overlooking Chew Valley Lake. Adults and (supervised) children are welcome.
What we'll be doing
We'll be clearing out the winter salad crops, weeding and wheelbarrowing in some much needed ‘fertility’ into our four polytunnels which will house so much of our gorgeous produce, from chillies to herbs and tomatoes to cucumbers and much more...
There may even be time to grab a quick crop of lettuce before the tomatoes are planted!
Please note activities are subject to change.
