Come celebrate the end of summer harvest, Halloween, and all that autumn brings us with a family shin-dig at The Community Farm!
As the busy summer season draws to a close, and with much of the harvests gathered in, the days begin to shorten for us growers and we start embracing the slower winter months as they draw in.
All around the world agrarian societies celebrate this time of year, giving thanks for the year's bounty, and remembering the ancestors who came before them, and we'd love to share this traditional family celebration with you, here at The Farm!
And of course its a time for pumpkins! We’ll be pumpkin carving, juicing apples, feasting on seasonal soup and cakes, telling spooky local ghost stories around the fire, singing harvest songs which will be sung and taught by folk singer Susanna Waters, celebrating our land-working ancestors, and more!
*Please note that this is an outdoor event so if the weather is not on our side, and we have to cancel, you will of course receive a full refund (we will notify you of this 3 days before the event date).
