The Community Farm is a not-for-profit, social enterprise overlooking the gorgeous Chew Valley Lake just outside Bristol and Bath.
Our mission is to get more people enjoying the benefits of a better food system so that local people and nature nourish each other and flourish together.
At our heart, we are an organic farm aiming to grow community alongside food. Last year we welcomed more than 3,500 visitors onto the land for events, courses, and volunteering.
We share the food we have grown with community and nature, as well as food we have sourced from a network of other farmers and producers who share our values, including more than 25 producers in the South West. Every week we deliver to hundreds of households throughout Bristol, Bath and The Chew Valley.

We welcome everyone in the local area to join our community, either through sharing time on the land with us or through enjoying the freshly-grown, organic produce we have grown with community and nature.
We are always looking for funding to keep the farm growing. If you would like to support us, please donate here.

When you set a box holiday to pause your deliveries, you can select the 'Donate my box' option to donate the value of your regular box to The Farm during your holiday.
Your donations will be processed in the same way as your usual payments. The value of any regular items you have in your order in the 'Veg & Fruit Boxes' category will be donated to The Farm (each time that you would usually have had a delivery) during the holiday period.
If you change your mind and would like to cancel your holiday donations, you can remove the holiday and re-add it without the donation option selected.
You will receive a confirmation email when your donations are processed at the start of your holiday period. After the donations have been processed, they will display in My Account > Order History where you can still have a chance amend them before payment is taken.
Community Farm staff work throughout the day, from the early hours delivering your produce through to the late afternoon. However, as a small company we are only able to provide customer services for part of each day.
Our customer service team are there to answer questions about box orders at the following times:
Tuesday to Thursday: 10am to 5pm
Friday: 9am to 3pm
No. You can choose to have deliveries weekly, fortnightly, monthly or just once. Once you've set up the frequency of your order, we will keep delivering until you make a change to your order.
Our online ordering system allows you to order each individual box or item as frequently as you like. So, for example, you could order a vegetable box every week, a fruit box and eggs fortnightly and stock up on your groceries once a month.
You can place orders ahead of time too. For example you can order for a delivery in two weeks' time.
Simply select the box or item you would like, click the Add to Order button, then select the date and the frequency of delivery.
Yes. Orders must be in place by 11am on Monday morning for delivery that same week. If you have placed a weekly, fortnightly or monthly order you can make any changes to your order up until this cut off time.
You can order weekly, fortnightly, monthly or one off. Simply choose the box or item you want to buy, click the Add to Order button, then select how often you would like it delivered.
Our Land
The farm is based in Chew Magna, overlooking the beautiful Chew Valley Lake. We currently farm on 8.3 acres with the whole site extending to 15 acres. We are happy to be farming on Grade 1 agricultural land, which means we have a fantastic sandy loam soil that allows us to grow a huge variety of crops.
