It's been a busy month on The Farm and we've been lucky to have had some fantastic weather and our crops have been soaking up the sunshine (and as much water as we can give them!). We've had the first harvest of our wet garlic, lettuce, broad beans, beetroot, sugar snap peas, courgettes, and spring onions — and there's so much more to come!
Of course we're forever grateful to our fantastic team of volunteers — whether they're regular volunteers or come to the farm on the odd Community Farmer Day — who do so much to help us grow and harvest our produce and look after the land and wildlife that lives here.
We've also been in full swing with our group experience days, and have enjoyed having Square Food Foundation and Burgess Salmon on The Farm who made some fantastic pizzas in our cob oven.
In order to help make fresh food more accessible to local communities, we donated veg boxes to All Saints Family Café and Feeding Bristol. It was great to see veg from our boxes being put to good use to create some varied and delicious meals!
