It's harvest time! Autumn has arrived and we've been busy harvesting the last of our summer crops as well as leeks, squashes and apples. We had a great time at our Big Community Squash Harvest day, and have so far harvested a mega 5 tonnes of different varieties of squash from our fields, with another 2 tonnes left to go. It's time to get out those squash recipes and indulge in those autumn comfort dishes!
This past month we welcomed the Soil Association, Diverse, a refugee group, and a school group from Cardiff, as well as new volunteers, ad hoc volunteers, our regular volunteers, and more onto the land. It's been a busy month, and October's looking to be just as busy as we continue to bring people onto the land to enjoy all the benefits it brings.
