- Brush making workshop

Join us for a day of traditional brush making, exploring different shapes and patterns over a three hour workshop, learning a range of techniques and skills all about the humble brush!
An incredibly useful and beautiful object for your home, we will work through a few different styles of traditional hand wrapped Appalachian style brushes. We will be working with a range of natural fibres to create our brushes and you’ll make up to 3 brushes throughout the workshop, giving you plenty of time to experiment and improve your skills.
Your host for the morning is the wonderful Flo Hamer, a traditional craftswoman specialising in basket weaving, woodworking and brushmaking. She is based in Bristol and has been a self employed craftswoman and craft teacher for the last 6 years.
