Spend a day on the land at The Community Farm, learning the traditional craft of using a scythe — and giving yourself time to slow down and connect with the changing seasons.

This workshop is more than just learning a practical skill. It’s a chance to:

• Spend time with our farm community

• Discover the quiet rhythm and meditative quality of scything

• Deepen your connection with the natural world through reciprocity

Alongside hands-on practice, we’ll share how The Community Farm is weaving agroecology and silviculture into our growing systems — working with wildlife rather than pushing it to the margins.

At lunchtime, we’ll enjoy a hearty meal of homemade soup and fresh bread, made with ingredients grown right here.
