Introduction to Organic Growing course - Sat 16th March

Are you keen to have a bash at growing your own this year?
Have you recently taken on an allotment and fancy some tips from an expert to get you going?
Our very own Grower here at The Community Farm, Andy Dibben will be running an Introduction to Organic Growing course on Sat 16th March. This is an ideal workshop for those wanting a well-rounded understanding of techniques used in growing organically; from fertility management to pest and disease management. This day course will equip you with the skills and confidence to make a great go of growing your own!

With the awful growing season experienced last year, many allotments have come available around Bristol as people became dis-heartened with the difficult conditions last summer. We’re keen to inspire people to get back out there and with Andy’s enthusiasm and expertise you’re sure to go home brimming with ideas and excitement to get started on what we hope will be a sunshine-filled year!

Alongside this Introductory course, Andy will be running a series of in-depth workshops on individual topics, the first of which looks at Propagation techniques for organic veg production which is coming up on Sat 13th April.
