Practical Workshop - Build a compost toilet

Join compost loo builder extraordinaire, Nick Ward on a practical workshop to build a compost toilet here on site at The Community Farm. The day will begin with a group discussion about the wonders of waste and the value of a compost toilet system. You will explore practical design considerations and will work as a group to build a compost toilet complete with rain water harvesting system for hand-washing.

This workshop is limited to a maximum of 10 people so be sure to book soon to avoid disappointment.

Provided we have sufficient numbers of people we will be running a minibus from Bristol Hippodrome and Bristol Temple Meads to and from the farm on the day (£5 per person) if you would like to take the minibus please let us know when you book.

NB. This course is on the same day as our Community Farmer Day. If you have already booked onto the Community Farmer Day please mention this when booking.

Cancellation Policy
If for whatever reason you need to cancel your booking, we offer a 50% refund up to one week prior to the course date. For cancellations with less than one week’s notice you will only receive a refund if you can provide a medical note.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the course we aim to give you at least 24 hours notice and you will receive a full refund.
