The Big Community Squash Harvest!

Sat 20th September 2025
12:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Pay what you can

Join us at The Farm as we celebrate autumnal abundance with a day dedicated to harvesting one of our favourites — the squash!

Bring your boots, your appetite, and your love of good company for an afternoon of farming, food and autumnal cheer. We’ll be harvesting our beautiful squash crop together, with time to wander the fields, learn a little about how we grow, and enjoy the changing seasons on the land.

Once the squash has been gathered, we’ll come together around the fire to enjoy music and take part in a whole host of squash-related games. Included with your ticket is a nourishing bowl of (you guessed it!) squash soup, made with fresh organic produce from our fields. Homemade cake, our own apple juice, and cider will also be on sale — all served with a generous helping of seasonal warmth.

Together, we will celebrate all that has flourished on the land this year; as well as the many hands that have helped bring the crops off the fields and into the homes of hundreds of local people. Whether you’ve been part of the work already or are joining for the first time, you’re warmly invited to share in the joy of this moment: a chance to pause, gather, and give thanks for what the land has offered.

This is a relaxed event, perfect for anyone who’d like to get their hands a little muddy, meet like-minded people, or simply mark the turn of the season in good company.
