About Us

Maddie Dunn

Maddie lives in Shepton Mallet with her husband, two young children and a border collie. She works in Bristol as an agricultural lawyer, practicing in the food and farming sector, with a specific focus on rural property and farming partnership dispute resolution and landlord and tenant matters. She’s a great supporter of the ethos of The Farm, and believes it is hugely important for children and young people to have the opportunity to feel connected to the land and to know where their food comes from. Born in Bath, Maddie grew up in Wiltshire before reading Law at university. She trained and qualified as a lawyer with Burges Salmon in Bristol, where she now practises. She’s a member of Women in Property and the Agricultural Law Association and has acted as a mentor for the Law Society’s Diversity Access Scheme.

We also have a team of fantastic regular volunteers who help us on the field, in the warehouse and for specific projects. Too numerous to mention here, and ever-changing, their support, commitment and enthusiasm is much appreciated by all of us at The Farm.
