Welcome to The Community Farm. We are an organic, not-for-profit farm overlooking the beautiful Chew Valley Lake, near Bristol and Bath.
Join us on the farm for events, courses and volunteering and get local, organic food delivered right to your door.

Willow Basket Weaving - two day workshop
Learn the ancient craft of basket weaving during this two-day workshop.
Come to the beautiful Community Farm and learn the ancient craft of basket weaving!
During this two-day workshop you'll be weaving your very own round basket with a handle, suitable for carrying your shopping, foraging and so much more! You'll learn a range of weaving techniques; how to pair, wale, rand, finish off a border, attach a handle. We'll be using locally grown willow in a range of colours.
This course is suitable for complete beginners/ improvers wanting to take their skills to the next level.
Basket making can be tough on the hands so not suitable for anyone with arthritis.
